At first she didn't get where i was coming from. After an explanation and a few days went by, many coats of Navy blue paint covered up the rainbow.

Plum, most of the folks I know down here would rather mind their own business than put their nose in others. Most folks are friendly, caring and honest. 40 years ago things were different but we've grown a lot since then and recognized all people really are created equal. Just like any where else we've got some bad apples but all in all mainly good folks

Folks a lot of us were raised to respect people and especially older people, let the ladies go in first and a whipping was not uncommon for messing up when growing up. It was definately a different mentality growing up. Moving from Wisconsin to Texas I noticed how much more easy going people were. I love Texas and the people here.

We checked online after we got them and the chairs alone sell for $75 each. We got the 2 chairs and the table for $100. Lynny felt like we took advantage of the guy but I said he could have turned down the offer so I feel we didn’t. What say you?

It's always nice to get a good deal
on something you really want/like;
just before I moved into my HUD apartment last April, I had to start buying furniture again to replace everything I lost when I moved
out of Virginia back in '09 !

I lucked out and found some good deals on Craigslist - two Lane swivel rocker-recliners in great condition
for $40/ea. (the lady could have
easily asked for double that amount),
a small, Southwestern-style loveseat for $20, and a nice little dinette set with padded seats and casters (also
in a southwestern print pattern) for
$35, all in very good condition !

I even offered the lady more for
the loveseat, but that's all she
would take for it ! Ya gotta love it
when deals like that practically fall
in your lap !

You are so right DD. I came home awhile back after a week away to a rainbow painted from the floor to about 4 feet up the bathroom wall.

Wife said it started out small and she just got carried away. All i could say is: Is their something you want to tell me?

I can see where that would be a reasonable question??? Yeah, be careful for what you might find at the end of the rainbow 🌈...😜🐟on

Nice pun, son ! SHOULDN'T cryo
units be 'COOL' ?

SO ! Now that you've made friends
with someone in the industry, are
you thinkin' 'bout gettin' your butt
'flash-frozen' for posterity (or to extend your own life-expectancy)
when you 'go' ? (Just askin' !)

Never know who you're gonna meet around here, lot of advanced technology developed in North Alabama with Red Stone Arsenal, NASA, and now Dynetics competing in the new lunar lander there's a lot of really smart people in the area.
