gotta be leery of - just keep your paws/digits as far away from any moving parts/blades as you can while still getting the job done !

Friendly suggestion - you might also want to keep your distance from any of them new-fangled
powered/automatic bait-casting reels - just in case !

I’m a fly and spin guy so I don’t have to worry about the bait casters. Although Guntersville is a huge bass lake so I’m probably going to have to learn how to use them.

I spent most of my 20's on Guntersville fishing a Spinning outfit and caught just as many bass as most of the other guys.
