Nice bass, and welcome. I was stationed in Maine for a couple years in the seventies. I caught my first small mouth bass there. I never heard about any ice fishing back then.

Guess I'm lucky, I've got 27 here right now. It's sorta misty rain, froze as soon as it hit the glass on the truck.

Yeah we're lucking out FT, We're on the warm side of the big dip in the Jetstream. OZ,Randy, and everyone in the middle of the country are getting whacked with single digit highs.

Hi Ripogenu, I have not made it there but would certainly like to! So many places in ME and so little time :) I have fished saltwater both charter and in our smaller boat. Went ground fishing last year. Was an interesting time found that dogfish can cause lots of trouble! Our Captain got spiked and took some time for him to be able to have the function of his hand again.

Thanks for the welcome Everyone! PapaJ hope things turn around for you all down there. One thing for us up here that are used to the fun not so much for parts of the country that are not. I also have horses. I know we are very much excited about a 35-40-degree heatwave next week. :) Getting ready for the sap to run and boil up some Maple syrup for the year. Best to you.
