Hi, to all my tight line friends. So excited to find this site fishing folk. I am a born Maine native and have been fishing since I could hold a pole. We fish the 4 seasons and all bodies of water. As with anything, there is always more to learn. I look forward to reading about everyone's tips and experiences may even get to share a few too. :) Was hard to find a picture of me with a fish as I am always the one taking the pictures...HaHa Best Melissa

Welcome Melissa, enjoy your time here and please share some pics. My only time in ME was a short service trip overnight to recover and ship some parts in January when it was foggy and the snow was about 3’ deep. It looked beautiful from what I could see. Nice bass through the ice!

24 right now and probably won't get above freezing for the next 5 days. That's pretty unusual for us. They are also forecasting snow on Sunday and Monday, another unusual event for us, and 2F on Monday night. That's CRAZY unusual for us. I plan on staying in except for feeding the horses and my elderly neighbor's cows. We have plenty of firewood and 3 dogs to throw on the bed at night.

2 of our 3 regularly sleep on the foot of the bed. I might have to recruit the 3rd! The chihuahua will probably get promoted to sleeping under the cover for the next few nights.
