Pennsylvania just did away with the license must be displayed law in the past couple years but I still keep mine in the little holder on my fishing hat which stays in my vehicle so I'll always have it when I go someplace.

I keep mine in a lanyard and I wear it when i bank fish.

I do the same as some others have mentioned. One in my wallet and one on my phone. I got stopped this past summer and I couldn’t find it in my wallet. The guy...not sure if you call them officers or rangers or whatever just asked me for my drivers license and he looked it up from that info

Ours are bought on line and printable at home. I have one in each tackle box and an electronic version on my phone is legal in CT. One for CT, none for MA and one for NH.
