I used to keep mine in my wallet but now they're more like receipts instead of cards. Any suggestions?
EDIT: I'm from California so we have to carry it on our person whenever we're fishing.

I'm in Texas. I carry mine in my wallet. I also have a picture of it on my phone as a backup. I'm not sure the picture is a legal substitute but might keep me out of trouble if I forgot my wallet.
On me fishin hat, inside plastic holder.

I have asked a conservation officer about the fishing lisc. and a cop about the driving lisc. and both said a copy is fine. this is in MN. and both were buddies.
When I bank fished, used a plastic pin on holder. Back then we were required to display it out in the open. Now I keep it in a small Ziploc bag with my boat registration, and boating certification card, in my pocket. I stash my wallet in my truck.
In a plastic bag taped to inside top of tackle box

Hey PapaJ. Most states will go by the # on your license and the officer can verify the validity of it with the phone pic also.

I keep mine in my underwear, when the fish cop ask where's my license and I tell them , they all have said thats OK I don't need to see it. Have save me a lots of money through the years.
Here in Costa Rica, they are enamored with technology. You can buy your license on line and they send you your license in a PDF via email. You just have to remember to carry your phone.
