I’ve heard of it never done it. Have also seen fishing piers in Myrtle beach where you had to pay but you didn’t need a license on the pier as you do everywhere else around there.

Do pay lake, stocked, fed fish give any kind of fight? Or do you just cast and drag them in. Lol.
I’ve caught stocked fish and they do fight. I guess they don’t like being dragged around by there lips any more than native fish.

Now I didn’t expect to read that. I’ve never paid a dime to fish at any lake or pond.
I found that interesting too as we don't pay to launch boats here, but I did here that because of covid & the influx of people at state parks, they were gonna start charging a fee to get in

I heard that there are a few places here in Pa have not been to them because I just moved here .but I think that it is worth a shot if you want a fish dinner and it’s fresh not from the store.will write about it when I go
Be careful, the pay to fish place i've been to charges by the pound
We have a farm stand locally that does a fish pond. X dollars per fish and you're not allowed to throw any back.

Sounds like Molders in Englishtown. Reasonable place. I got a pile of channel catfish there. He sold them by the pound but I never took any. When I went for trout I set my own limit for four and left. One year they put some stripers in but they were small. Got them on chicken livers and two hit a fly. I use to go when I didn't have a freshwater license and only fished saltwater. I always had a good time and think it was money well spent.

That's the place, we go there once in a while in the summer, it's fun to take a day and fish all three ponds for bass and almost always catch something nice. Especially when we get tired of fishin our other spots
pay to fish ponds are Great for kids but personally I would find a spot that you have already paid for with your fishing license. that's assuming you have one, otherwise pay to fish places are good for not needing a license in most states I've fished in.

We have five or six normal ponds/lakes that we fish plus we find other ones on a special map that i have and try them out so we're always finding somewhere new but for some reason we'll still go back to that place every now and then, it's just a thing i guess
Really we paid for every thing we do one way or another. No big thing to me, my money will spend the way I want. Oh and that free loving you are getting at home, YES you are paying for it too.
Yea, I agree with most of you. After you pay for your license, your tackle, if you own a boat (and all the expenses) paying a bit more to fish somewhere you are going to have chances at more fish, not a bad deal. There are many private or Indian Land reservoirs you have to pay for access.
Agreed, it’ll cost you one way or another. We have no license requirements for fishing in saltwater here in NJ. There are a lot of freshwater places open to public no charge other than license fee. Most boat ramps charge money, some have seasonal passes for $ . Few are free but the lines are rediculous. The main thing is to try different things and keep fishing 🎣
always takes some sort of a pandemic or national crisis to where people will take advantage of the situation...whether its fees to go somewhere or supplies needed. And guess what happens? Prices go up by leaps and bounds.
