Got out on the Napa early and caught 3 fish right away. Kept 2 of those, 19 inches and 21 inches.
Caught a few more but didn't keep any of those.
Fished till 1:30 and finally caught 4 more right before we left. Last fish was 10.25 pounds and 30 inches long.
All in all we caught a dozen fish and 7 were keepers. We kept 5 of them.

Saw a BIG golden eagle today. Won't be able to see it unless you can enlarge the pic.
He was absolutely huge. Looked like he was 4 feet tall. When it flew away his wingspan looked to be close to 8 feet.
Seen lots of eagles before but none that big. WOW, SO AWESOME !

Nice fish Steve. You guys are having way too much fun. There’s a pair of bald eagles 🦅 that hang out where I like to go fly fishing East of Port Angeles. They catch a lot more than I do. Lol

We had golden eagles in Wyoming that would grab a lamb and fly off with it. They’re huge.

They’re catching a lot of nice steelhead here now but I can’t find the time to get out much. You’re lucky to be able to go fishing so much. I get to do that from May through September but that’s about it. The rest of the year is busy around here and fishing don’t fit in well. 🤷‍♂️

Very nice Fishing there Saw1. Looks like a fantastic day. I am fortunate enough to see Eagles where I fish All the time. We have Balds and Golden’s. They are very Majestic Birds. Here are two I saw up on 4Mile lake fishing out of my Kayak

I have probably seen those two, myself, on Fourmile. It's one of my favorite lakes around here. Is it snowed in yet, Ruffplay? I know Lake of the Woods and Fish Lake got snow, but haven't heard if Fourmile was too deep to get in with chains.
For eagle watching, you live next door to the best eagle-watching place I have ever seen or heard of. Once counted over 60, and heard from a local that I "must have missed half of 'em" !
Sure a magnificent sight... gotta get over the hill again, haven't been there this year.

Huge fish Saw. That eagle would easily be 4’ tall. Congrats on a super trip.

Thanks buddy. I think so too.
Were you able to enlarge it?
We weren't very far away from him when he took off and he was HUGE!

No, but looking at it compared to the limbs and such, it’s a large Eagle. I sure it’s at least 4’ tall. I mean, look how tall it is.
