That's just the way of kids. My granddaughter was that way till she 10 or so and she had to bait her own hook and tie her own hook on the line and take her own fish off. Except catfish and I still take them off and she just turned 17.

Yeah, I regret now how I handled that. In 1994 we lost the youngest boy in a car wreck. He was 20. He was the one scared of the crickets. Can’t go back, though I wish I could. Thanks Saw

Yeah Hack. No goin back. Sometimes we wish we could, but I don't want to live over some of the things that happened and goin back might not change things one bit.
I believe God has things under control and even though we'll NEVER be able to understand why as long as we're on this earth, I feel things happen for a reason.
Still so sorry for your loss Hack. I believe we've talked about the loss of our kids before. Whether they're 6 months old or 20 years old it's not easy to lose ones children. That's something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.

That’s hilarious but typical. Something you’ll never forget. Thanks for sharing Justoldjim.

Me either saw, but with the bad some good can come too. Some visitors started coming to our church and we became close friends. One day their son, in high school, had a heart attack and died. We were able to be there for them and help them with their grief. We’re still best friends to this day and they got on with their life. Now they have grandkids from their daughter and life’s good.

Sue and I too have had the opportunity to share in someone's grief to lessen their pain ,if you could. God definitely puts us together with those that we can help because we KNOW the pain they're in because we've been there too.
Glad you were there when your friends needed your strength and comfort. Along with His strength and comfort most of all.
