Thank you very much for the pictures, that helps a lot. Can you please tell me the name of those jig heads? Or a link where I can get us a couple please.
Thanks very much,l

You will find that the gulp gets chewed up rather quickly. Depending on what is attacking it. Eastern Oz is the garlic man, he will give you some good tips there.
I know the Blue fish can be brutal on the bait. That's the main reason we bought lip grabbers several years ago. We don't care how big they are, they go back into the water.

Blue fish!!!! Now you are talking a good fight. Not a fan of the taste either but a good challenge.
Keep that antiseptic ointment handy. The teeth leave nice scratches.
Ever had em smoked plum? Way better that way.

Spirit that sounds like a good idea, however no one around here smokes, they are more into fry the heck out of it and tarter sauce. I am the rebel with broiling, smoking would get me chased out of the hood.

I believe he makes those jig heads?
There is a similar jig called a Google Eye which has a rattle in the head. They have some which have the bait holder hook you are looking for, too. Also check out tickle tail swimbaits. They look to me to produce a lot of vibration for fishing even in murky water.
Good luck.

Lol,
I always keep Band-Aids and Neosporin close by. We once seen a guy catch one and pick it up. It cut him pretty good. No, we don't like the taste of them either.

When are we going to see some fish pics from that beautiful area?

We will start sending them this week.
When we surf fish it's always before sun up and sun down. To many people on the beach
and swimmers. During the day when we're on the beach, we leave our phones in the house.
Early last year while we were swimming, someone stole them for us.
Mom was able to erase all the data on them before they could figure out the passcode on them.
Which is always the same on our phones. We plan on trying two Piers this week for the first time.
One goes out about a thousand feet over the ocean.
The other is on the Bay/Sound side. She told we can only go during the day. Unless a neighbor goes
wiith us. Ever since Dad died she has been very over protective. Since we have to take our phones with us.
Plus it's daytime we will be taking pictures and send them to you guys.

Hi Mr. jfbanzai,
You seem very talented, thank you so much. We have a catalog somewhere
around here. It had molds and things to make jig heads. I'm very accident
prone :) sometimes. So I'm taking the easy way out. Mr. OJdidit found some
nice ones similar for us.
We ordered two sets, one for or each of us. The should be here by the 23rd
Of this month.
Thank you again for your help!
Zoey :)
