Good morning Zoey,
I know you’re well acquainted with casting rods, but have you tried spinning gear? It may open up some more options for you. Something to think about, anyway.

Hi Mr. OJdidit,
We are thinking of buying a couple cheap one's. I forget the brand name, they were medium/ heavy 7' on sale for about 50.00. We can use them for Pier and also freshwater when we go back home. It seems a couple of the lures we bought are to light to cast :(

Zoey :)

That is what I was thinking. It is good to give yourself options. Worth a look, anyway and at $50, not too painful for a trial to see if you like that technology. What do your Dad’s friends use when you fish with them?

Hi Mr. OJdidit,
One uses a bait caster, the others spinning rods. We are going to back today and pick up one for each of us.

Cool, I think you’ll like them.
Good luck!
