Well guys let’s call it. 14 full pages of ying and yang concerning a simple pocket knife. No clear cut winner but buck has a following. No losers. Just blades of choice.

Hey Saw I’ve got some older Garcia reels that seem to just keep going and going. Only problem I ever had was a worm gear on a 5000 one time and maybe I did that. Have any problems with yours?

Not the one I got from you. I also have 1 or 2 of the red 5000s and the spool is a little wobbly on one of them and the line gets caught between the spool and the side plate on the inside of the reel. Hard for me to explain. It gets inside the reel and there is no way to get it out. Had to cut the line and then try to pull it out. Not sure it all came out. I don't use that reel anymore.
