Turkey breast are delicious! I season and grill them cut in chunks rolled in breading and deep fry . Legs and thighs are good put in crockpot and then shred for creamed turkey over biscuits and mashed potatoes. Or shred it all and add bbq sauce for sandwiches.

Ya'all got a bit sidetracked on the Turkey thing huh? That's because your out in ridiculous weather and your brain got too cold, I feel bad for the poor guy that asked the question. By the way it was 79° here today and the fishing was absolutely fantastic.

Jitterbug

I used it successfully in the 60s as a high schooler when fishing for bass in Wisconsin.

1st time out this year my buddy got this 21 inch Cuttbow. I had to settle for an 18 incher.

This is my first post. I’ve looked at the FishingStage for about a year now.

I’m always glad to hear about people fishing and enjoying themselves in this great country.

Wish you all tight lines.

My first thought was jitterbug. But that’s what I get for thinking. I convinced myself after fisher people with better memories so frequently mentioned Crazy Crawler. I’m now in agreement with them.

GMinLB: Yeah, well...it might be the Corona, too. You don’t need to feel badly for WV Mike. He can dish it out as well as take it. Plus, once the word was out that it was a Crazy Crawler, what else is there. So, what did you catch, since the fishing was AF.?

Good looking fish George, I spent a couple years in Colorado Springs back in the sixties @ Ft Carson then got married and moved off base and rented apartment on 2308, West Kiowa st, Pikes peak was our view, still got that girl after 53 years, we keep saying we’re going back, maybe we will who knows. She just asked me the other day about catching and eating rainbow trout we caught in one of the catch and pay pool, fresh fish and great eating, good luck and stay safe. Tom

I used to get terrific shrimp at Murrell’s Inlet, winter trout and plenty of ducks; back in the early seventies. That area along with all the history seemed magical to me.

I had to stop hunting turkey. It is humbling to find out that a bird is smarter than you are. :-/

Still plenty of shrimp and fish, ducks are still here not like the seventies though, my grandson and his friends go mostly in the rivers, were you by chance in the A F then?
You need to plan a trip to come back to the area, changed a lot since then but still a great place to live or visit, be Safe,
Tom

What’s the name of this lure

Looks like a Heddon Crazy Crawler (late plastic model, the old originals were wooden).
