True they are watching you thinking wow he’s looking for us in this cold weather but we see him so we will stay bunker down seriously is wild turkey good to eat? Never tried it but see a lot of them around here in my neighborhood

They are funner to hunt than to eat I make jerky out of them

I used to hunt turkeys but I couldn't figure out a way I could eat them. I tried smoked, baked, broiled, in the turkey fryer, whatever that does to them. Couldn't do it. I have never tried them as jerky, maybe that would work if you had enough Miller lite to go with them.

They are not bad soaked in Italian dressings And pressure cooked.

A friend of mine hunts them and also makes jerkey out of them. He says that’s about all they are really good for. He’s given me jerkey and it is delicious.

flyguy I found that the best recipe for the wild turkey was 101 proof.
