The best lures I ever bought were cheap. Under a dollar for a pack of 10. 6” I think. May have been grape. The name is on the tip of my tongue? Anyway, the most expensive lure I ever bought sober was a heddon lure in the box antique. Today,it would buy 2 new tires. But it’s mine and will belong to my youngest son one day.

I bought a lure that looked and felt like a rainbow trout about 7 inches long for 29.00 and the first time I threw it to shore it came off and sank and I said I should have gone to Safeway and bought some fish for what I paid!!~

Whopper Plopper - has caught a few bass but not as many as I was hoping. Maybe out to go where there are more bass and leave chasing the Kokanee alone. On second thought - never mind.

I agree Huntm on the Wopper Plopper S ,I have 4. Also a giant size Frog, that I'm hoping to use when it warms up and the pads come up

Xcalibur xcs100 in Rayburn Gold color. I probably paid $7 or 8 on closeout. I’ve seen them as high as $30 on e-bay.

I'm planning on trying a couple new places this summer, both supposed to hold some large fish. When I saw this frog I thought , gotta try one of these!

Megabass jerkbait, more specifically, the 'Stain Reaction' Vision 110. $24.00, and the Jackhammer chatterbait 19.00. Both are exceptional and in my opinion work better than their counterparts. When you reel in this chatterbait, especially with the right rod/reel/line combo, you'll understand why it got the 'Jackhammer' name.

I bought a couple of Luckycraft pointer 78’s that were about $17. I’ve still caught more fish with night crawlers than anything else.
