Yes, but Smile when you say that, Partner! I was living in McAllen at the time, which is on the border across from Reynosa. The TV station got a new cub weather gal and it was her first week on the job. The state on the Mexican side is Tamaulipas. Without any coaching to understand the correct pronunciation, she in giving her weather report said, Tamale Pass! I wonder if she ever lived that down? There are a lot of ways a tenderfoot call attention to their recent arrival, for instance words like Mexia, Bexar, Brazos, Refugio, even Rodeo! RJS

Yesterday I was at my local Wal-Mart buying a large bag of Purina dog chow for my loyal pet, Jake, the Wonder Dog

because I'm retired and have little to do, on impulse I told her that no, I didn't have a dog, I was starting the Purina
Diet again. I added that I probably shouldn't, because I ended up in the hospital last time, but that I'd lost 50 pounds
before I awakened in an intensive care ward with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms. I told
her that it was essentially a Perfect Diet and that the way that it works is, to load your pants pockets with Purina
Nuggets and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry. The food is nutritionally complete so it works well and
I was going to try it again. (I have to mention here that practically everyone in line was now enthralled with my story.)
Horrified, she asked if I ended up in intensive care, because the dog food poisoned me. I told her no, I stopped to pee
on a Fire Hydrant and a car hit me.

Been there done that.

When the last one was born we did our 6 weeks together.

Was told if you don't you won't.

I did and still don't as often as I would like.

Kinda sounds like breach of the contract and a bit misleading.

Part of being a male I suppose.

I did it after my second one. Wish I’d known we were gonna split. I’d waited. She “NEVER” said things like this wife did.

Mine has decided at 57 to shut it down. I think it's probably a hormonal thing but having that discussion is going to produce zero change. This is my 3rd marriage. Can't end this one. It's like having a roommate. Not ready to close my shop at 65. Despite some health issues, I can still enjoy it.

Had a girl ask me if I believed in reincarnation. I told her yes. I was once a dog. When I went behind her and sniffed her A$$ she slapped me . Guess I changed her mind about it.

Been to three of those places audigger53. I’ve got a Vietnam Vet buddy I served with who lives in Pipe Creek. Close friends in Bandera. Hunted in Bourne. Love that country. I’m down here in Pasadena-Get Down-Dena, Texas.

I Lived in pipe Creek for 15 years, working for Datapoint. When they split Customer service off into IntelogicTrace, that was me. When they went Chapter 11 I got a job at Genicom in Virginia then next one was in Maryland. Wish I could have gotten one that paid good in Texas. Oh Well. Tell your buddy that coming out of Helotes going to Pipe Creek be aware of the shooting range if it is still there. Was driving home and had a Tompson open up and was going from the right lane towards the median before I realized that nothing was hitting near me. Went around bend and there was the shooting range. That woke me up real quick from just driving home. LOL I lived in the Valley with the Sir Strip if he knows where that is. Before you cross over the bridge going to the Pipe Creek Post Office.
