Got a Dick’s 20 or so miles from me. I go the other direction to a bait house that is really nice. Good se******n too. Also 10 miles north is a small sporting store that has gear. If they don’t have what you need they will get it for you pronto. Sometimes it pays to shop the small places around. They can even help you with where to fish and who is who fishing the same as you. We have a county co-op that sells catfish food and they can tell you who buys it. That way you can ask the land owner if you can fish their pond.

Who put the little independents out of business? You ever watched the Netflix documentary on Walmart? You ever seen the documentary of WM taking out life insurance policies on employees without the employees knowledge?

Is everyone missing the point of this situation or am I totally confused? He went to checkout with 5/$2.00 lures and 5/$20.00 plus lures. Did he think he was going to get them all for $10.00? Whenever any kind of sale of any product is b.o.g.o. it is always the free one has to be of equal or lesser value. The other question is why would products of such different prices be in the same bin?

I think the point is that he was going to buy 5 $20 dollar items expecting to get 5 $20 dollar items for free and they were offering 5 $2 dollar items for free? Maybe we both missed something? I still don't shop at Dick's. Screw em.

Hello Eastern. But how would that work? 5 are going to ring up at $2 and 5 at $20.00. I still don't understand how that "sale" can work. The prices are too far apart. I wish someone from Dicks was on this site.

I just meant to have them ring 1 item at a time on the bogo and then lay another item on the counter, 5 separate purchases.
