I'd been fishing around Top Sail NC with a neighbor friend during 2020. In Dec, my girlfriend and I sold our homes to buy into an F-250 and a 5th wheel camper, to escape being locked down. Jan 2021, we hit FL for the winter months and rediscovered my love for fishing (Fished Huntington Beach CA as a kid). Bored with being locked down by this plandemic, it was time to get lost. We hit Panama FL to visit a buddy who helped me find some fishing areas. Then Newport Richie where I found that FL Fishing never really ends. Pulled into Carrabelle FL for a month, and found a guy who had a Kayak off St George's Island State Park. As he paddled in, we saw two larger speckled trout, a black drum and and a large Flounder. That was it for us. With no real success with shore fishing, we bought kayaks. What a difference and what a way to enjoy nature. Our maiden voyage had two wild Dolphins visit us... came right up to the sides of our Kayaks. We were blown away!!
