Grew up in Kingsville in South Texas. Moved to Austin area 1982. My parents had me fishing Baffin mostly, but everything from PINS to South Bay in Port Isabel. Even La Pesca in Mexico. Almost every weekend we were fishing, going to the valley for whitening hunting quail with my dad's pointers which were well known as some of the best in South Texas. Then deer season in Starr, Zapata , Jim Hogg, and Kleberg Co. Now all I do is fish. I will go on a deer hunt to teach the secrets on shooting great bucks at close range. I only shoot 2 year old does. I think they are the best eating. Anyway all my cousins love to fish. My cousin Ray is a guide in PT. Mansfield. Jimmy, my old and best friend in Kingsville knows Baffin south to the landcut. . Number one trip of almost every year is end of September till first week of October at the Mansfield/East Cut.
