Hi everyone. My name is Alan Seran. I live in a small town in NE Ohio. I've loved fishing my entire life. My dad was a GREAT fisherman and was featured in a small magazine called the Ohio fisherman. He was also involved with the Berkley fishing team hosting events for kids. He caught thousands of bass in his life until he passed away a couple years ago. I used to love going to Michigan every year as kid to go fishing with him. I've caught many bass as well. My biggest is a 9 1/2 lb bass I got on the Cumberland River when I was stationed at Ft Cambell KY. Now, I only go once in awhile in between work and the weather. I just caught my PB smallmouth when I visited Michigan again, after 40 yrs. It was surreal, because this time I'm 58 and it was on our last day there. I feel it was a gift from my dad. It was the only bass I caught after fishing there for just a couple days. The Ausable River is loaded with big bass,pike and salmon. I was estatic..memories .
