For those of us who fished around the Port Charlotte FL area, there was a local bait and tackle store named Fishin Frank's. It was totally demolished by a pickup truck accident and burned to the ground. It was an institution, with locals, snowbirds, young and old. You can read about it on line. But please take a moment to remember this good man. Thanks, Bill P.

Were is the best spot to catch walleyes in lake erie
West end out of Monroe or Port Clinton.
The Au Gres has shore fishing opportunities out at the river mouth into Lake Huron. And also upstream at the boat docks and city park, both at US 23, and upstream at some side roads crossings. I have had some luck at those places. The only thing I know about the Rifle is right in Omer at US 23, and upstream at state property on the river. I have not fished the Rifle. I usually fish the Au Sable, Pine, and Tawas Rivers. Good luck.
Great fish, but you are nuttier than me.
Thanks for the info, will try it in northern Michigan.
Thanks for posting. Had me grinning all day long!
Check with Jays at Clare or Northwoods Wholesale Outlet at Pinconning. Which ever one you buy, use a long cord and tie the grabber to your boat.
I have had good luck in Michigan with wax worms.
I have a friend who cuts off the handles of spoons and creates lures from them. And I have caught fish on his homemade lures.

Has anyone used an ACME Hydro glide to catch perch? This one is from Cascade Lake in Idaho.
Wow! I'm moving to Idaho! Have no idea what an ACME Hydro Glide is, but I will find out very quickly.
Oh my gosh! A great idea, bet you will get a lot of happy memories riding around in that.

Does anyone have or know where I can get some plans for building a surf fishing cart. I know, its probably cheaper to buy one, but what fun would that be?
Plans or links to would be appreciated.
Look up fishing carts on Pinterest.com They have hundreds of plans, mostly made out of pvc pipe, and not very expensive to make.
possibly a juvenile permit fish?
A 4" diameter must be a real monster.
