Just being out and enjoying a beautiful day is so wonderful! Catching fish is just frosting on the cake.

We fished Lost Creek on 10-13-23 and landed a dozen Rainbows. 5 of them were 16" and very plump. The rest were about 12" planters. We had a lot of takes, and the weather was gorgeous! Can't beat that!

My friend and I were fly fishing on August 31st in about 7-8 feet of water. We had a very slow day and only caught a 22" Brown, which we put back to be caught another day. We saw about a dozen other boats in the South end around us and only saw 2 boats with fish on.

Since it's been so blasted hot I would rather doubt if there's much activity. I have been hoping for it to start cooling down so I can make a trip up there from Medford. I typically fly fish on that lake.
