Spent all day fishing at Tahkenitch lake for coho on Wed. We fished along the edges of 8-10 different coves around the lake. We were spin casting lures of various colors and combinations- to no avail. We did catch a couple of medium bass and a small rainbow but the elusive Coho were not to be had. Talked to many other anglers and only had one coho and one Jack amongst the 10-12 others we talked to or saw. Never saw a single net lifted. The good news is that it was a beautiful weather day.
Just being out and enjoying a beautiful day is so wonderful! Catching fish is just frosting on the cake.
