Man it sounds like a great time. Yes I'm very invious. I haven't had a lot of time to get out the last few years but would love to get there one day. My wife would have loved it.
Is the same Atkinson mill that milled way back when? Beautiful area. My dad took me there many years ago. Great fishing!
Big dog stay strong for Peaches and yourself.
It's almost a copy of my last six weeks. Took me 55 years to find my Doodlebug. Seven weeks ago she was diagnosed with cancer of the brain lungs and gallbladder. She was the strongest willed woman I ever met.
Our Lord took her home this past Sunday night.
We never lose them they are always there.
My thoughts and prayers are with you both.
Keep a tight line buddy!
I've done this a lot over the years and it has worked great.
I cut the trees in half. One half in each hole of the cinder block then fill the holes with quickrete. That will hold to bottom and is a bit easier to fish instead of having a 6-7 ft tree to fish around.
Place two or three of these about 2-3 ft apart.
I like mine in triangle pattern to be able to fish multiple angles around and in between.
Hope this helps
Mercy, glad to have ya. I'm Fish. I'm not far other side of Raleigh,in Cary area. Some good fresh water snagging in our neck of the woods.
Be great in a month or two. Just get water temp down.
Look forward to your post
Buddy I ain't bit a bass in a while but across the back seems the best.
Just kidding man.
Find a few good points. As bad as heat has been a good sloopping "yes can't spell" point and pull Carolina rig small 4-5 in curl tail or flat tail. Find points with sharp stage drops but no deeper than bout 18-20 ft. Let me know how it works for ya
Jeff,(1) Thank you so very much for your service for our country, family, and keep this country FREE!
Unfortunately I am in the Raleigh area and don't get that way often but if we could work something out sometime would be a honor to either hunt or fish with you. I have a few hundred acres with just about everything on it. Including black bear. Hardest animal I've ever tried to bag.
There is one on the same Rd as beaver creek launch back on beaver creek Rd toward 64. I think there is actually 2 camping places on that Rd before 64 hi way. Just check and make sure they have tent camping
Let me know when you're going. Might can be there too. Been wanting to get over there just ain't had time.
Not exactly. I would figure since they filled it.
Good question
Yes sir. That is exactly the spot.
Again good luck
Old man. I've been here since they filled the lake
Across the bridge from Ebenezer ramps just pass pea ridge Rd there is a hand launch only ramp on the right. Drive right down to the water, put in,move vehicle,go fish.
Very nice fish in there especially in the back part with all the timber.
Hope this helps you and good luck
