Yes sir I’m within walking distance to Greenie. I have a couple friends with camps there and or live there full time. I’ve been trying there. I’m currently at Sam Houston State Park. No luck yet.

Thank you so much for the information. Unfortunately currently I only have spinning reels. I’d like to learn how to use a bait caster, I haven’t found one for a reasonable price (just in case I am unable to figure out how to use it) I don’t want to waste the money lol. Everyone says it’s not that difficult from the paining just need better thumb control. I was also told to learn that thumb control with a weight at the end of the line while watch tv etc. then move up to casting in the yard. Thinking maybe I’ll go back and check the local pawn shops again. Again thank you for the information.

Thank you so much. Yes it’s for sure for bottom fishing and someone told me even inshore. My ole fishing buddy gave me it the day I went into remission. I hadn’t fished in almost 2 years and had lost all my fishing gear. Sadly he passed but I’m sure he’ll be watch me fishing with it from above. Thank you for your help

I was gifted this pole by an ole friend when I beat cancer. I want to use it but not sure what type of rod it is considered. Any help is greatly appreciated it says it’s model 9525 but can’t seem to find any info on it. I even googled it. It’s a 6’ rod and one piece with 3 eyes I believe it’s fiberglass has a really cool wooden handle. I love this pole I just don’t want to break it. I know my friend would want me to fish with it. He was my ole fishing buddy.
