The Little Sue and Talketna have been productive…depending on when you go.
Hey…
I agree…Courtright is an amazing place to be.
Do you prefer the Kayak for fishing? The San Joaquin River and the Madera side of Millerton are productive for “catch anything” outings.
I apologize for replying so late…
Our fishing trip…now in its 38th tear…is for trout.
I have flyfished for 30+ years…and now everyone on this trip does the same…
I very much appreciate any input.
Thank you
Thank you…our annual trip will be July 10…
We prefer disbursed camping…and an area that will support 6-8 guys.
The last 35 or so years I’ve fly fished for trout. 2wt Orvis and 3wt St Croix rods…catching fish up to 23”, but mostly 8-9”.
Since beginning to try u/l spinning set up I’m just going for anything that bites.
Thank you…
Most fishing will be around Lemon lake and up.
I appreciate your reply.

Yes, I did mean Hat Creek, thank you.
I’ve been looking at maps of and around Baum Lake…looks promising for a large(ish) group. I have flysihed for so long that I have forgotten how to fish with ultralight gear…wanna be proficient at both.
Thank you again for your reply.

Looking for active areas in Central California, Sierras, and Durango, Colorado.
Also planning for our 38th annual fishing trip near Hot Creek…dispersed camping for 8 longtime friends and memorable fishing outing.
Thank you
