Hey there,

I’m in Fresno and I fish out of a 14’ tinny and a kayak with my wife or grandsons. Im getting ready to retire and have decided that I want to try and catch more than trout.

My favorite place is Courtright which is one beautiful place to be.

Anyone from Fresno please say hi

Hello and welcome.
Lots of lakes and fishing around Fresno.
Try Hensley lake near trees. Yamamoto worm watermelon, wacky rig.
We always get bass there with that technique.
Usually launch at buck ridge and hit the coves near trees or grass

Hey…
I agree…Courtright is an amazing place to be.
Do you prefer the Kayak for fishing? The San Joaquin River and the Madera side of Millerton are productive for “catch anything” outings.

I actually live in the Ranchos and have a home in Lakeside Oregon and Winchester Bay so my wife and I are between here and there. The Delta for night Bank fishing is also amazing off of 4. Look up Turner cut resort, Windmill cove.
Only issue is homeless living on the bank but I just go where they aren’t. Clams or Anchovies at night will get nice Striper and cat fish. Also the Aquaduct in Los Banos at night can get nice stripers. Wrap anchovies in nylons so they can’t steal your bait

We like the kayaks, the tinny has been remodeled, new transom board, 55lb thrust electric, no gas engine, cleaned up and ready to go to work with it

Will try there, thank you

I agree, broken bridge near the trees you can catch nice trout. I usually cast up stream and float eggs down

Check out Shaver Lake for Kokanee salmon, bass and trophy trout.

Welcome to the stage. If you fly fish go across the lake at Wishon and walk/hike up the San Joaquin. You have to time it right for the time of year so it’s not too high.

Hi James
I'm Cliff and my favorite spots are Wishon and Courtright. If you want to fish for bass the best places to go are Millerton and Hensley.

Thank you

I know where the Bass are for the Lakes, but need to learn where in the Lake and what to cast to them.

I am watching a bunch of YT videos on how so I have a fighting chance
