Spotted an eagle in a nearby tree, and fished with about a dozen great blue herons. Nice two pound bass, an 18 inch pickerel, and crappie.

Activity in high gear! Bass and sunfish eager to hit surface and slightly subsurface offerings.
Have had good luck with spider imitations and poppers with lots of rubber legs. Sit, then twitch if no hit. Lots of fun on the fly rod!
