You are right about the dolphins but the fish are there too.
The dolphins and the birds are there because the fish are there too.
In the morning I look for bird's.
After the bird's go I move to my regular spot's and work them until the dolphins get aggressive.
Then move to the next stop.
If the bird's and the dolphins are gone the are gone too neither one of them stay to far from an easy meal.
I've done very well down there this fall.
I'll get an update out around the 15th I'm out of town till Thursday and probably won't get out until the following week.

On the Halifax here in Ormond we’re located in the middle of 2 inlets. Which are 48 miles Apart. That and the dolphins make it a huge factor

Been trying to catch red fish or any other good fish besides Catfish... What's the secret to getting other fish such as trout or red fish..etc?

IMHO. the dolphins got that area worked over. You’ll need to work hard to catch them. Few & far between

We haven't seen any Red tide in over a year and a half .
The fishing in the South end of the harbor has been very good many many 100 plus fish in the boat days.
All on artificials.

Kind of a dreary drizzly day, perfect for some fishing. Got a few crappies, bass and snot rockets on gulp shiners set about 6 feet deep over 12’ of water. Wasn’t on fire but had a fun time. Took 5 for the table from 10” to 12”.

Where do you fish

Got into a high tidal coefficient yesterday and was lucky enough to catch and release a couple of beauties. Kayak fishing on the ICW.

Thought the crappies would be on fire today, had low light, a little chop and a front moving in later this evening. Did Ok keeping 5 from 9.5 to just shy of 12”. Entertained by the antics of the geese and ducks, they’re pairing up and the drakes and ganders are getting into some competition for the hens. Quacking, honking and in general “butting heads”. 4 nice hours on the lake.

I’m in Florida now but fished all those areas up there. Was this at Eaton Resivor?

I went out on the Main Street Bridge around 5:30 a.m. this morning in downtown Daytona. I had a strong light with me, but the water was so low and clear that I could see a bunch of nice sized Snook swimming around. It's Catch and Release only until the end of the month, but they sure put up a good fight. They're always around that bridge. Occasionally there's some Sheepshead there and every once in awhile Tarpon in the summer.

Thanks for sharing
