Your trophy catfish equipment may be overkill for beach fishing, 2/0-3/0 hooks or even smaller for most species.
Hi lo rig will be fine. Your rods may be a little short for beach casting if you can find a jetty or pier the shorter rods will probably work ok...Good Luck
