10/4. I’ve read about it a ton. I have a friend that guides sailfish on the fly there. I hope to get over there some October. So many fish. So little time.

I’m sure that’s still correct. I went out with Alex the local guide one day and we got a BUNCH of fish. Mostly sea bass. Scorpion bass. Trigger fish seem very abundant. And so fun on my light tackle feeling the bite. Thanks bapabear!

Hi I’m heading for Mexico Baja sur in January . I’ll be base camped around Mulege. Available to go from Mulege to Cabo San Lucas. I’d prefer to stay above LaPaz as much as possible. Any advice on inshore fishing would be appreciated thanks. Fuzzy Bodems
10/4. Thanks for the advice. I really like Montana trout fishing April - July. I live on the Missouri River. I’m a fly fishing nut. Last winter was my first time around Mulege. I usually go further south. La Paz , Las Barrilles all the way to Cabo. I brought my little 1754 grizzly tracker Jon boat down in October. Took the jet pump off and hooked up a prop. Definitely not the best boat for the area 😆but I had a blast. Got a bunch of dorado. I left the boat in Mulege. I’ve Never been to jungle Jim’s but I did read about it. I’m going down the end of January, I’ll swing in. Hope to bump into. Maybe go out a day. Thanks again.
Thanks for the reply. Hmmm , I thought that also. I know that’s true further south. I fished Las Barrilles July 2 years ago and got some giants. But That’s not what I been reading. All the fish calendars and archived fish reports I read say rooster fishing is best around the bay of conception in February/ March . I got a bunch of little snapper/ triggers last February. A little rooster fish. Broke off a big rooster.
