History: my father and me fished Dillon Point casting Johnson spoons with a pork rind trailer with stinger hook. Had great action especially when casting along the river drop off to the deeper portion of the river.
Salmon closures are for ocean and in-rivers. Doesn't appear to apply to land locked King and Kokanee salmon in lakes.
Rumor has it that there are still King Salmon in Pine Flat Lake (east of Fresno, Ca). Anyone land one recently?

Fishing pressure was light but other boating stuff beginning to increase. Check out the Sierra Marina Webcam that shows the ramp, trailer parking and ramp staging area to get an immediate view/idea of the fishing activity.
I added catching a King Salmon at Pine Flat to my 'Bucket List". I'm told, "lots of luck". Any hints for a geezer?
Thanks for all the Bass Lake info...went to Shaver Lake, launching and parking free and we caught and released 8 trout 3 bass.
