Btw, has anyone ever told you you're a perfect doppelganger for Zach Galifianakis?

Uh, no. Never heard that before.

Angler of the Year.

I am fairly invested with the Northwest Kayak Anglers, (NWKA), it is their Angler of the Year Tournament that I am working on.

Actually yesterday I had a 4 species day. I added a tiny Pumpkinseed Sunfish to the days catch.

Nice looking fish congrats Drifter. What kind of Salmon is that?

Thank you! Just a Rainbow trout. The others are a smallmouth bass and yellow perch.

Going out again today, will see if I can find more upgrades.

Great. thanks for information. Any particular color for a spinner?

Thanks again,

Color seems to vary by the day and co dictionary. Hard to beat a 50/50 gold and chartreuse.

Drifter,

I'm also heading back to N. Idaho for some fishing. I know it's late in the season for good fishing, but, you fish
when you can. Still have a few problems getting out of So. Cal. I just leave it up to the wife as she does most
all of the driving.....and she hates fighting all the bad drivers and the heavy traffic here in Orange C.

This year I think we'll stay all winter long unless the wild fires drive us out again. Havent been ice fish'en for
sometime and am looking forward to it. Mostly yellow or stripped perch, which I put close to the top for good
taco eat'en.

The boy counted 30 turkeys in the side pastuer last week, so, the time won't go all to waste. He usually always
has a few elk in the yard competing with the horses for hay. The resident ducks and geese and the
greatgrandson seem to get allong pretty well together, as long as the GS doesn't start throwing rocks at them.

Where will you be located up north when you get here? Maybe we could wet a lint together.

Drifter, br br I'm also heading back to N. Id... (show quote)

We will be staying at our timeshare condo in McCall just for 4 nights. Probably fish this Saturday and maybe Monday. Head home Tuesday morning.

Good luck! There is a bunch of Salmon just waiting for a shot of fresh rain water to move up river.
Of course this happens when I am heading to Idaho to fish.

I would either troll a cut plug or pull a 360 flasher and 3.5 spinner. Either way keep it near the bottom and check often for weeds on your gear. Should be getting good!

The Tidewater area of both the Alsea and Siletz have been doing pretty decent. A little rain would help.

You can't just buy them over the counter there anymore?

No, starting this last winter the tags go on sale December 1. The non resident tag allotment was sold out by the end of the week. They have greatly reduced the non resident tags.

He hasn't been on the site in a few weeks. ( Huntin season)
If he gets in contact with you, tell him I said "HI, and hope he gets his Elk."

I hunt Idaho most years, but I didn't keep up with the rule changes this year so I missed out on getting my tags. I won't make that mistake again!
