Try Lake Juliette with the kayak. As for trout fishing, Rock Creek in North Georgia is a great place to start
Stone Mountain Park lake is a good place to fish
Shad are moving up towards Hard Labor Creek on the Reservoir . Once the water temp gets to 50 degrees, the fish will be stacked in the creek bed pretty thick. Right now the water temp is upper 50s. You will need about 3 good batteries on your boat to safely reach and be able to get to the good spots
how far behind the boat was the bait when trolling?
Two weeks ago the largemouth were hitting everything I threw at them….spinner baits, jerk baits, and plastic worms. I went back last week and saw some striped action on top water but I couldn’t get them to bite top water shad imitation baits. I’d like to get into those stripers! I’m new to Juliette so I’m interested to hear what others have to say too
I’ve never had much luck in that spot. You really need a boat to be productive on that lake
I haven’t been there in a few years but it had a healthy population of bad and crappie. Nice boat ramp.
I caught this monster red a week ago on end of outgoing tide using a 4 inch pearl Diezel minnow
I’m not sure about crappie or cats, but the bass we’re hitting everything I threw two days ago. This is a new lake for me. I haven’t fished for those species yet, but I plan on it. The lake has super clear water with lots of grass bottoms
Fishing Seminole is on my bucket list
Thanks, I might have to try the Texas rig
Hey, I’ll be camping this week for a few days at Ft McAllister State Park and plan on launching our boat from there to fish. I would like to catch trout, redfish, flounder, sheepshead etc. Any advice would be helpful. We will be on a 16 ft Polarcraft. Thanks
