Red fire ball eggs, we call them salmon eggs, have always been my go to for trout in the creeks. I usually drive up the 395 to the Big pine canal and I always use either panther Martin spinners or silver vibrex spinners. There are some BIG German Browns hiding in those waters.
Lake Isabella is almost completely dry. It was once a great place to fish. They have been working on the dam for the last couple years so they are letting all the water go down. The upper Kern is still pretty good and I was just there last month. Caught a couple carp π€’ nothing else though.
I'm new here but I love all your stuff
Howdy, I'm Jesse (BeardedMeat) and I'm new to the site but not new to π£π. I'm from the Mojave desert area , West side of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Not many lakes near at least none with decent fish. I'm still getting a feel for how things work around here but I am very happy to finally be a part of the family. My mother actually mentioned that I should check out this forum βΊπ I'll definitely tell you guys that ongoing story soon. Guess I'll see you around. Kerrville California mostly
That's right down the road from me. There's pretty good fishing normally, in that area.
