We are contemplating buying a lakefront property on Toledo Bend Reservoir, complete with a boathouse on a deep water cove. My question is, how much does the lake level fluctuate on Toledo Bend each year? Many of the properties I see on other lakes in Texas are currently out of the water. As of this writing, Toledo Bend appears to be five feet low. Is this normal? What is the maximum drop we should expect for Toledo Bend?
