Anybody catching any Shad on the Roanoke River in the Williamston NC area
Not sure my family is from eastern North Carolina. My great grandfather said all Jernigans are kin.
Year before last Costco had a really good one but stopped carrying them for some reason.
Don't like new topics layout, now you have to look through all of them to find NC fishing reports.
Falls Lake, park has some good piers and there is lots of shore line.
Fish around the duck blinds with shrimp or worms. Try not bump or tie onto the blinds it will spook the fish.
There are at least 3 piers in the park.
Just a regional name, same fish in other places called different names. Whiting and king fish just to name a couple.
Anything happening with stripers on the lake, if so about what part of the lake?
