Definitely need a river boat to fish for brown trout. I’m a bank fisher so I only catch rainbows so far but still enjoy the sport and eats? Some of the guides use skulpins which can be caught in the lakes and rivers. Good luch

I am fortunate to live here so I fish over near the dam quite often as well as Norfork. I couldn’t figure out what kind of fish is caught and was surprised to learn there are golden rainbow trout and blue rainbow trout! I am originally from the south suburbs of Chicago.

So exciting!!! Today I was fishing on the white river for trout in Cotter, Arkansas. I was able to catch a beauty but it jumped and spit out my hook! 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

We were fishing from shore on the White River in Norfork. Got another 15 the next day also!

Up at 4am, out the door by 5am for some trout fishing! Everybody got their limit today! All 15! Caught on green powerbait!!!
