In my opinion, just look for grass flats and mango trees on a rising tide and cast, cast, cast that plastic till you get bit!!!!! Always works for me.
And sometimes they break the line when you have a smaller pound test!!! No judgement here, we do what we can and hope others do the same!
Thanks man , my daughter skunked me that day.
Try Clearwater or st Pete inland on grass flats, not much further up and well worth the trip
P.s. the skyway is mainly a tourist trap!!!!!also , try Anna Maria or even longboat key earlier in the morning on live greenbacks
I’m from Bradenton and there ain’t nothing there but gar and lady fish. However, if you fish freshwater , go way up the river we’re it turns fresh, your gonna catch lots of variety on artificial worms and live shrimp. Good luck.
Once again, sinker rig seems to be dialed in !!!!! Good luck and we love seeing this pics.
I agree with sinker rig, I have used artificial lighting with very limited success, mostly lady fish and jacks
Speckled trout and redfish caught with a slow rolling artificial shrimp or plastic jig on the grass flats
Artificial shrimp on the first cold snap of the year will sley them
Anybody have any luck lately in the Tallahassee area
