I fish BBNWR and Sandbridge in Virginia Beach. Caught a 17" bluefish the past week. Guy next to me caught a 33" red drum. Definitely some action in the surf.
I fish the surf at Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge in Virginia Beach and catch whiting, pompano, bluefish, black drum, red drum, Spanish mackerel, trout, etc.
Fished surf at Back Bay Wildlife Refuge yesterday. Caught couple of decent spot, several roundheads, and lost a pompano right at the waters edge. Saw a Spanish jump as i was leaving.
Fished the surf at Back Bay Wildlife Refuge yesterday from 4pm-7pm. Caught couple of decent spot, 4 whiting, and lost a pomp reeling in. Squid, shrimp, fishbites for bait. Saw one Spanish jump as I was leaving.
