Really loving my field and stream Blade. Picked it up at basically half price. Been fishing the daylights out of it. I cut in two rod holders instead of going the crate route. I have a five gallon bucket withe a water tight screw on lid for that spot

Top water buzz bait may work for a dead line. Has weight to it so it will cast out a ways for tomorrow. Once out there you can leave it. Twitch it occasionally. Let the natural water movement work it for you

I've had decent luck using a Carolina rigged pumpkin colored trick worm. Not great luck mind you. When the sun is high and hot the Bass fishing is not

Love fishing from my kayak. Easy to transport, put in and take out. Paid $159 For my field and stream Blade. A paddle and anchor brought the total to just under 250 and I was on the water. Added a couple rod holders and cleats for my anchor.

So far this season the biggest fish I've caught was really morning. However, the most fish I've caught was early evening.
