This is probably the best all round fishing reel ever made, it’s originally made in France, , I have had these reels for years, and I really love them, you can use them for all kinds of fishing. If you look on eBay, you can sometimes get the extra spools for a good price, I got 12 of them last year for $16. All of them are in the original metal storage tins, marked France, five have never been used, still had the original paper tags on the spools. Anyway, you’re going to love the way that they work, just as smooth as can be. Enjoy your time fishing with your Garcia Mitchell 300’s they have no equal, they are still the best open faced spinning reels ever. I personally own 7, four I bought myself, and three that I got from my Dad, he also loved them. And they all are in perfect working order and get used all the time, they’ll work out well on any rod that you might like to use. If they were still making them, I think that the company would still be making lots of money on them.
