Fished there again today and caught only bait fish. Did have something happen that was a first for all my years of fishing in Fl, AL and NC. My pole bent down like I had a whale and when I grabbed it and started to reel I had nothing but a cute dolphin swimming under me. Same thing happened to my husband one minute later. Apparently they liked our live bait. Lol

We fished in the area for many years before moving to South FL. Caught some of my biggest drum after going thru the gate at Ft. Morgan. Park there and walk around towards the point for maybe 1/4 mile.
Also Lots of good fishing on Gulf State Park fishing pier.
One more place is at the end of Mobile Street off of Ft. Morgan Road. Caught lots of fish there. Good luck!

It was exactly 10 inches long and I’ve never tasted better fish. We loved it and the Sheepshead. Both delicious.
