Norman do the sea trout over in your area have worms in them?
Nice fish you have there by the way!
I know they don’t hurt the fish and are not harmful I hope after eating them and many a grouper with them in’em.
Not all the trout have them but my old island friends won’t eat a grouper without them.

They really have slot limits in California:-) I thought out there anything goes, are there any regulations on immigrant fish? If it's like the ways our laws are going now, why even carry a tape measure just call it culling the ocean!! Call is a protest and they let you go, even supply you with some funds so you stay out of trouble!

Thanks Oldbass and Saw1:

We catch Sea Trout down here but on one of my trips to the Carolina's we stopped and caught some I think Rainbow Trout or Brown Trout in a small pond with corn kernels. Never used anything like that before fishing not even for brim and sunfish. We caught quite a few small but fun on our real light tackle. I remember the manager of the bait shop telling us they eat the corn as it looks like eggs, and the fish were all farm raised.
We cooked them whole over a campfire was a good memory, like many things today just memories!!.
I remember saying the national anthem is school and praying not when needed but just to pray and be thankful for what we had. Gob Bless the USA we need it more now than ever!!

Hello stagers,
I'm seeking your advice on a small scale DIY worm farm to teach my Grandson how to own and run a small business.
Red worms would be called Lil Gizmos
Night Crawlers would be called Gizmo's Big Ens
I've checked into the various permits and fees needed, I'm looking into packaging.
This would be a small and local venture.
Our plan is to sell by the worm.
We would also offer to buy back the container and dirt.
The purpose of this venture is not to make a lot of money, just to break even, or perhaps a small amount. The main purpose is to teach responsibility and entrapanourship.

Commander:

I truly admire your drive to help teach your young'uns. Let us know when worms are available and I'll will buy when ready to help out. We had our son and daughter pay rent from the time they were 12 just to learn those responsibilities, they were shocked at how much money that we saved from their rents so when they graduated and moved onto college they had some working funds. They learned hard work and being on time and proud of your work can get you places.
I had to start at 9 and never got a cent back but the lesson was well learned and well appreciated later in life.

You are so right, the tighter the better, always keep in mind while casting with a spinner or any reel the line needs some tension or it will self coil loops most the times you can just pull them out. Happens seldom, but for me it happens right when I spot a large snook or redfish under the mangrove roots:-)
But that’s fishing.

My local tackle shop but they are on Amazon now, $3.99 like almost everything.
I bought the box of 150 thinking they’d be cr.. / garbage but hold up very well, so an inexpensive gift that holds up well!!

This is the cheap but very efficient braid scissors I carry, 3” over all titanium and stay sharp.
