Traveled to Denver a few weeks ago and picked up my brother and sister-in-law, went up to Granby for a few days of fishing and heat relief! Fished Shadow Mountain Lake from the shore line. I think we did pretty well. Here's my 2 bigger catches-Rainbow and a Brown trout. Not bragging size but good eating!

Sorry to hear you're selling your boat, looks like a nice set up! 2 surgeries for this summer - I hope you're healed up for surf fishing later on this winter. I'll be sure to check with you when I get back.

I went with a friend of mine who has come down to spend a month here. We went near the spot where I was introduced to surf fishing with Brownsville Tony and Padrebino. Surf was rough and a bit chilly but we caught some fish. I forgot to take the photo while we were at the beach. This is right before dinner!

We tried to go to Boca Chica yesterday and got turned back. Police said it was closed for the next 3 days cause Elon is pressure testing something. Disappointed.

The Whiting cooked fine in the electric frying pan with oil. I sprinkled a little seasoning on them but thought with the skin on it probably wouldn't matter. A little salt and pepper when they were done.
