This is a link to an article published recently on the on-going drama of Spacex and South Texas' beaches and South Padre Island and progress and development, etc. It sort of explains all the ins and outs of what has turned this into a soap-opera. So many of our members come down here to fish and for college spring breaks that I thought it would have general interest. It isn't a fight that is going to be over quickly but the effects are so far ranging that we all should be aware how serious it is, in spite of industry and the government treating it as a joke.

I kinda laugh about what people would pay to go up in a flight and experience weightlessness for a matter of seconds or very short number if minutes and buckle back up to land. It’s cool to do some things to experience it and cool to explain what it was like to others but I would never go even if I used thousand dollar bills for toilet paper and could afford it.
Maybe a few days or week but not a few minutes.

We tried to go to Boca Chica yesterday and got turned back. Police said it was closed for the next 3 days cause Elon is pressure testing something. Disappointed.

Then there is that too to put up with. Just isn't a well thought out plan for this whole thing. I sure don't know what the answer is but it isn't what's in place at present.

Glad to see you heading for the surf again. Went to SPI on Mon, beautiful day but got skunked, even though it was supposed to be a good day.
There are several websites that post Boca Chica closures, here's one of them:

Do you folks get to VOTE for Court Commissioners and County Court judges, or are they appointed ? Either way, you may need to use the power of the ballot to get done what you need. Money talks and bull**** walks, but the problem can be fixed. Just thinkin'.
