Good morning and Happy Hump day!
This is a double Hump Day since we're ½ way through the week and also ½ way through the month of May.

59° outside this morning and heading to 70° this afternoon with more rain... blah, blah, blah....
Did I mention it's gonna rain today??

I'm taking a load of scrap to recycle this morning, I'll haul a few tons of limestone gravel back for under unit bases and holes in the driveway. I'll be helping a good friend this afternoon with a couple of his garage doors he's been having trouble with.

My Hearing

After completing his annual physical on a patient, the doctor asked if there was anything that was bothering him. Joe replied, "Yeah, my hearing."

The doctor examined Joe's ear and removed some ear wax. He then asked Joe if his hearing was better.

Joe said, "I don't know, the hearing isn't till next Tuesday."

Enjoy your day folks!
Good morning and Happy Hump day! br This is a doub... (show quote)

My last annual physical had the doctor advise me because of my age to get a bar installed in the shower. I thought what a great idea not having to walk all the way to the kitchen.

Captain ALWAYS puts you on the fish. On their website it states: "We guarantee you will catch fish." You won't find that in CA! I must have put back 6-8 undersized grouper and about 30 of what they call tom-tats (some kind of junk fish).

Yes, all but the chocks vitamins got me too. We used aluminum tinsel instead of angel hair. Today's cellophane is awful but last time i checked on internet old boxed aluminum tinsel was $25/box, And back then we threw it intro the garbage when disposing of the tree.

Nah, tinsel is still around, and just for a buck or two. We stocked up one year on an after Christmas sale and bought about twenty boxes. Our tree gets tinsel every year; it's the only part of decorating the tree I partake. My daughter and I, and, yep, one stand at a time. Tradition!

Never like the spun glass. Always made me itch, like trying to use fiberglass insulation.

remember "itchy powder"? Spun glass, same thing. Never get away with selling that product in these times. I recall dumping a whole vile down a girl's back cause she put some down my best friend's back. Brought her to tears; to this day I still feel badly about it. My reaction was spontaneous and regrettable, but you don't pick on a guy's best friend.
And, I too, remember when the peacock was black and white.

Good catching sun.
A day on the water is great even if it's cold.
But it's easier to stay warm if you have a fish on the line.

Sun, I don't know about Florida but I'm jealous. LOL. Would love to have been with you.

Thx, Gordon! "Snowbird" it down for a week and we'll go together. On their website it states "We guarantee you'll catch fish", now how's that for a Bold statement! Never saw that in my 30+ years of fishing California charters.

Are limits and slots size enforced.

Do you think a professional commercial operation is going to jeopardize their license and fines over an illegal snapper?? Come on, man, use your thinker.
Additionally, these guys care about the sea and its inhabitants more than anyone. From keeping an illegal fish to tossing a butt in the water, they'd be all over your case. And I get it.
