Hi everyone. William, here. Early next week I will be fishing lake Mcswain. I was wondering what bait the trout are biting on? I am there will still be plenty of trout left from the derby this weekend. Thank you for your time and help.

Hey chef, check with “ranger632” on this forum. He fishes McSwain more than anyone I know. You can pm him. Good luck.

Ok fish fam, please read this entire post as it has important info!! Understand I do not make a dime off of t shirts/decals or anything! In fact last year I lost a bit over $100 of my own money, again ,learning curve.I willingly volunteer to do this so everyone can have a good time, that’s it,so with that said….. This is the t shirt design for this years M&G as well as the window decal we came up with. This year I will only be offering short sleeve T-shirts, they will be black, and once again the print will be on the front, I think the blue transfer on the black T-shirt really pops. The T-shirts this year will be $25 apiece and this year I am going to have a cut off date of April 1st for ordering the T-shirts, that will give me enough time to purchase the shirts, the transfers, allow for shipping of everything and time for us to print them, the cut off is April 1st, no exceptions. You must send me a PM and tell me what size you want. I have a Venmo account you can pay for the shirt then if you do not do Venmo, you can give me the money when you see me at the campgrounds, by you purchasing a shirt, and only if you purchase a shirt , your name will go into a raffle that we will have Saturday night, the raffle will be for a Bass Pro Shop gift card, as of right now the card will be a $100 gift card, depending on the amount of sales of the T-shirt that card amount will go up, I do not make, or keep any money, I will hand out a raffle ticket at the campgrounds to everyone that has bought a T-shirt, I will make myself 100% available and you will need to get with me at some point before Saturday in order to get your T-shirt and the raffle ticket, and there will be one winner for the Bass Pro Card. now for the window decal, it will be vinyl,it will be a indoor/outdoor sticker, and it will be glossy, the decal will be $5 each and the money that is raised from the decal sales will go into two raffles, also for Bass Pro Shop Gift Cards, again, the dollar amount of those gift cards depend upon the sales of the decals. For the decals, I am putting a ordering deadline date of May 1st again, no exceptions. This year I will not be doing a group barbecue, again, last year was a learning curve, and I am not doing that again, this year, you will be responsible for ALL OF YOUR OWN MEALS the whole weekend, again I am not providing a barbecue this time. Please make sure you understand the information that has been laid out within this post, should you have any questions send me a PM and I will gladly answer your question to the best of my ability, let’s make this a awesome weekend guys!!!!!🎣

Did anyone besides me think the decal looked a lot like Ranger. As Mr Samples would say “just saying”.

That’s nice that you have that kind of relationship with your doctor. I used to have that kind of relationship with a doctor but he retired. I do have a good relationship with a FNP ( family nurse practitioner) I have been seeing her for the last 20 years.

Sadly she doesn’t fish. 🙁

Oldndn, I started with my current doctor 7 years ago when we moved to this corner of the world and he has been good for me. The trouble with me is that with nerve damage there's nothing that really can be done so I see him to keep my maintenance up. Today he started asking about my fishing "hobby" and he showed great interest in going with me this summer. We each understand the limits of medicine so his head scratching isn't a problem for me anymore and a friendship has developed. We started my mother-in-law with him when we moved her here and my wife sees his PA so he's well versed with my family.

Good morning Doug, and how we all look forward to your humor each morning. I'm sure if you took her bowling again she would forgive you.
We have it a wonderful -4 and hope to reach 11° this afternoon. Our fresh white blanket came yesterday afternoon, but thankfully it was only just enough to make the snow covered streets a bit more slippery.
I get to go see my doctor today so he can scratch his head and say "I don't know" and "come back in 6 months". Happy Friday everyone.

You know I have several doctor that do the scratch their head thing. I just quit with one and canceled an appointment with another. I have this one doctor I have been seeing for over 2 years and each time I go in I am wearing my Vietnam veterans hat and he says (so you were in Vietnam) now mind you I wear my cap everyday and everywhere and have seen him 10 times at least. Go figure.

When you went to a high school in Rural PA in my days, It wasn't uncommon to see kids walking down the hallway with a shotgun or rifle since they were taking it to shop class. All we ever had to do was stop in the office when we came in and show them it wasn't loaded. We all had pickup trucks with guns in the gunracks in the parking lot.
Boy have they ever.
Things sure have changed!!

Same thing here Bk, the area I hunter as a kid for pheasants and rabbits is now a subdivision. And access to the river I fished is now posted no trespassing. Some say progress, I say regress!

Same here for me. The area I used to hunt pheasants and rabbits is a
Mall with businesses stretching for a miles in all directions. We used to hop on our bikes and ride through town with our shotguns across our handlebars and no one ever gave it a thought. This one will get you. I worked for a school district and during pheasant season would hit a few fields before work and pick up up a rooster or two. I would then pull into school with my shotgun and 22 rifle hanging in the rear window gun rack, and again no one ever gave it a thought.

I remember all of those. Younger years spent with my grandmother in PA. We had a coal cooking stove with a white gas one for backup. Grew our own veggies, raised chickens for eggs and to eat and the only time we went to store was to buy flour, white gas and lard. Pumped our water, took bathes in a tub and when it snowed grandma had a honey bucket behind the cook stove which was still warm from cooking for us kids at night. Grandma still used the outhouse. Shoveled coal for the furnace and brought buckets up for the stove. I could go on and on but a lot of you get the picture. Grandma raised me until the middle fifties, dad was fighting the commies in Korea. I miss those days stinky outhouse and all.

The Lone Ranger never killed anyone. He usually shoot the gun out of their hands. I find that interesting.
