I kinda think if a fish is bigger than the bucket it’s a pretty big fish. Congratulations Gina. I must also thank you for the introduction to the Blue Bucket. Your Blue Bucket has the potential to rival the famous Green Bucket belonging to andys. 🎣😁😁

I don’t know, if your but was any bigger you would need a 55gal drum no complaints from me like they anything bigger than a fist full is a waste. Hell of a meal once you get the meat out of your but.

Went out fishing on Humboldt Bay and caught this 26 inch halibut. In the past when I've caught CaliHalis I cut open their stomachs to see what they've been eating. Not a pleasant thing to do but I was curious. I found that 9 times out of 10 they had eaten sculpins/bullheads. So I fished for some bullheads and used for bait. They are not the easiest bait to put on hooks because of their spines on their gills. I put it on the hooks and lowered it down. Not long after I got the bite and the fish was on. My friend also caught one while jigging swimbaits. One fish was a lefty, with its eyes on left side, the other was a righty. One 24" the other 26". Fun day.

Mud suckers are identical baitfish without the spine…always put hook so target fish can eat them head first like all fish. Most people hook them opposit way not sure why but this way it’s easier to hold up when not occurs

There are several local places that salvage outboards. Also eBay has a lot of used stuff for outboards, outdrives and inboard motors.
There are more boat manufactures in this world than there are auto manufactures only difference boat manufacture go out of business. However drive train always have parts.

Oh no!!! You still have a great smile...but ouch on that tooth! Nice trout by the way too...

I just had a couple of tooth implants done from loss (too much soda pop...so I'm told by the dentist). They seem to be working out very well...just like the originals. Maybe a front tooth could be a candidate?

Wish it was my case all my upper teeth are gone but bone disease is why my loss is not implantable. Dentures only way for me

Should of lesson to my Dad when I was 7 when he told me to never, never, never use my teeth to close split shot. Funny how my dad gets smarter the older I get. Just kept fishing and caught 3 nice trout, will make a nice meal for me and the wife. South Fork Tuolumne River using orange power bait.

Same google fishing in maps and it shows all good spots.. bay is full of sharks and rays from 4’ leopards to seven gills to huge rays. Grand st boat launch works well for me with large rays.. use whole mackerel or whole sardine

Let’s see you have emeryville, alameda banks by launch ramps and anywhere in between you can google in maps “bank fishing” and it will show areas that people populate.
Treasure island is a good spot also

Are u saying that my 2 stroke motor on my boat is now totally illegal in California. Does this pertain to the bay , delta, and the rivers( Napa & Petaluma) or the many fresh water lakes that still allow them? Can u provide info where I can find and read this new law? Can’t find it! The cops are coming, really?

As of January two stroke motors are not permitted on any lakes. As for bay I imagine better safe than sorry the law has not been enforced yet.
