Bass fishing is more of an active pastime than cat fishing, generally speaking. You hafta go looking for the bass, they're mostly ambush predators who sit and wait for their prey to come by. Catfish will do that too, but they also head out and hunt and they will come to you if they smell food in the water. Stinky baits work great for cats. Trout are a different sort of critter altogether. I can go on for days about trout.[/quote
Ignore as well

I fish Collins probably about once a month. Been doing that for about 20 years. Rollins, not so much. But I do know that there are catfish. That's what I was fishing for when I did fish it. Channel cats. I did pretty well. I fished with fresh mackerel under a bobber. If you want more info on that, just ask. This time of year Rollins can be good for trout. What is it you're interested in catching?

Thx spirit I'll fish for anything. I would like to focus on catfish, bass , or trout . I will be fishing from shore if that is different than fishing from boat .lm not sure . Hope this make sense I'm told to use more periods..... Lol. They said I type the longest sentence. Lol

You're in a great spot. Right on Rollins - this time of year it's great for trout and small mouth. And Scott's Flat is just a stone's throw - browns, bows, Kokanee, smallies. And Collins. Go get em.

Hey spiritof27 my name is rob. I see you mentioned rollins. Have you fished there. If so is there any thing you can tell about what bait to use. What setup to use. Also is there catfish . I don't see anyone mention that. Thx n please

A few periods would make it a lot easier to read. It may just be me, but I had a HARD time understanding. Normally I wouldn't make this comment, but you said I hope it reads good, so I am answering that statement.
